Charitable Funds: schools
News| | For teachers| | Contact us|
Our hospitals look after more than 750,000 people every year.
Specialist medical care and state-of-the-art equipment are expensive; but you can help us – by getting involved and raising funds.
All of the money you raise will go to the fund that you choose.
Young people from schools all around Oxfordshire have helped us raise funds for:
-
digital scanners for the Oxford Cancer Centre
-
hi-tech pain relief equipment
-
a beautiful garden for patients
-
children who need brain surgery.
They have done this by abseiling down buildings, holding fashion shows, singing carols and even donating their birthday money!

April 2012: Cherwell are our fastest ever fundraisers!
A team of sixth form Cherwell School students have performed the fastest fundraising feat ever – raising £282 in 15 minutes selling donuts at school!
Special thanks to Sophie Dupre, our Cherwell School Ambassador.
Thank you Great Milton C of E Primary School
Great Milton C of E Primary School has adopted our hospitals as Charity of the Year. We are delighted! Also, thank you for the donation to the Breast Screening Appeal. The Breast Screening Unit (which scans 25,000 Oxfordshire women every year) is appealing for funds to buy two digital mammography scanners. Early detection of breast cancer can make a huge difference to successful treatment of this disease.
