Training
Induction
Newly registered users are given a basic tour of the library, instruction in the use of the catalogue and classification system and details of our services.
If any department would like a scheduled induction for staff, we would be happy to do this.
Finding the evidence
The library staff are willing to do literature searches for you, but if you would like one-to-one training, or a group of staff would like a training session, please email sally.ryan@orh.nhs.uk|
Training sessions last about an hour and include:
-
how to formulate a clinical question
-
how to access the NHS evidence health information resources
-
how to search the clinical databases
-
how to find other relevant sources.
