Terence Mortimer Postgraduate Centre
Facilities
The Terence Mortimer Postgraduate Education Centre, a large Edwardian house, was converted in 1975 after the people of Banbury raised money for the hospital's centenary in 1972.
We provide and encourage the provision of high quality postgraduate education for doctors and dentists in training, in accordance with the criteria set out by the Oxford Deanery / University / Royal Colleges / Faculties.
We provide opportunities for continuing education for career grade doctors and principals in general practice, in order to improve the standard of patient care.
The building houses a common room with daily newspapers and television, a small servery which is open for lunch, two seminar rooms, a lecture hall, tutors / administration offices (Medical Education) and the Horton Library|.
