Email advice service

Dermatology currently offers an email advice service to Oxfordshire GPs for routine clinical enquiries in addition to our telephone on-call service for urgent consultations.

The service is checked daily and consultants try to reply with advice for all enquiries within 48 hours.

The address to send emails for advice is:

Referring via Choose & Book

  • Routine patients: these should always be referred via the Choose & Book system.
  • Urgent patients: these should be referred via Choose & Book, or if a melanoma or squamous cell carcinoma is suspected, referred via the 2 Week Wait.

2 Week Wait patients

2 Week Wait patients should be faxed to the 2 Week Wait Bureau to ensure that they are booked into the tumour clinic as soon as possible.

Only patients with suspected melanoma and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) should be referred via the 2 Week Wait. Please refer patients with suspected basal cell carcinomas (BCCs) via Choose & Book.
