Acute General Medicine

Acute general medicine is based at the John Radcliffe Hospital and the Horton, and is a very large and busy service covering a wide range of medical problems. 

Many of the patients who are admitted through the John Radcliffe Emergency Department come to Acute General Medicine. Many may spend time in the Emergency Assessment Unit (EAU) or Post Acute Unit (PAU).
