There are a large number of conditions for which surgery of the ear, nose and throat will be required. In the treatment of disease of the ear and the management of deafness, the associated audiology service provides the essential assessment and measurement of hearing defects and the provision of hearing aids for patients.
The John Radcliffe Hospital surgery serves Oxfordshire, Mid Buckinghamshire and adjacent areas of Berkshire, Bedfordshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and West Hertfordshire.
We operate a 'hub and spoke' model of care, with all inpatient work being undertaken at the West Wing, John Radcliffe Hospital. Outpatient and daycase surgery are performed at the Horton General Hospital and Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury.
