About Charitable Funds

On this page:

Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Charitable Funds is the independent registered charity (no. 1057295) through which gifts can be given to support the work of the Trust. From John Radcliffe's legacy which founded Oxford's first hospital, through to the thousands of individuals and organisations who support Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals today, charitable giving has helped excellence and innovation in many ways.

Your efforts, support and donations bring significant improvements to patient services, to the hospital environment and to research and teaching, which take us beyond what the NHS can achieve alone. Our current fundraising priorities include:

Please go to our events page to find out about fundraising activities taking place soon - including February's Put Your Heart into It and the 2010 Oxford Mail OX5RUN.

It's Not Just a Walk in the Park success!

Hundreds of people took part in our Cancer and Heart Centre fundraiser, It's Not Just a Walk in the Park, on 18 October 2009. The three mile sponsored walk, which coincided with the opening of the Oxford Heart Centre|, looks set to raise £30,000 for the two causes. From toddlers to ninety year olds the walk allowed people of all ages and abilities to show their support.

Call 01865 743444 if you need help getting your sponsorship money to us.

Our charity Christmas cards are here!

What easier way to show your support for causes across Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals than sending friends and family our charity Christmas cards this year? An array of exclusive Christmas cards has been designed to support causes  including the Oxford Heart Centre, the Oxford Cancer Centre, the Children's Hospital or a hospital fund of your choice.

Every gift counts

Every gift, sponsored activity, event or corporate partnership can make a difference to the lives of patients now and in the future.  We do fun things like abseil, jog, walk, eat or roller disco to raise money!
