Saturday 21 November – Cancer Centre Open Day
The Charitable Funds open morning is now fully booked. If you have any questions about the event please call 01865 743444. You can still attend the Cancer Centre Open Day|, 11.00am - 3.00pm, for a behind-the-scenes look at Oxford's cancer care. No need to book, just show up.
Enjoy a champagne and shopping evening at Bicester Village on Friday 27 November 5.00 - 8.00pm in support of the Fund for Children. Tickets, at £35, include a glass of champagne, a goodie bag and a ten percent discount voucher for shopping. A three course meal option is also available.

Saturday 19 December – Christmas Shopping Soccer Day
Summertown Stars AFC are holding a coaching session for children aged six and above at Cutteslow Park, in aid of charities including the Children's Hospital. You can drop children off between 10.00am and 2.00pm and get a bit of last minute Christmas shopping in.

The date for the 2010 Oxford Mail OX5RUN has now been set. The annual five mile run at Blenheim Palace, which supports the Children's Hospital and children's services across the ORH, will take place on 18 April 2010. Once again thanks to Allen Associates and Motorworld for sponsoring the run, and thanks in particular to the organisers, the Oxford Mail and Oxford Times.
It costs just £10 to enter and participants are asked to try and raise £100 or more in sponsorship.

Sunday 18 October – It's Not Just a Walk in the Park
Hundreds of people took part in our Cancer and Heart Centre fundraiser, It's Not Just a Walk in the Park, on 18 October 2009. The three mile sponsored walk coincided with the opening of the Oxford Heart Centre|. From toddlers to 90 year olds, the walk allowed people of all ages and abilities to show their support.

Heart Centre dinner success!
A sell-out crowd of 300 diners enjoyed the Keble College Heart Centre Dinner on Friday 2 October. With wonderful entertainment from Rory Bremner and Lord Patten, the evening looks to have raised over £40,000, a tremendous result. Thank you to all the guests and to all those who worked so hard to make the night such a success.
