Christmas delights at the Children's Hospital

21 December 2010

This December, patients at the Oxford Children's Hospital were delighted as many visitors came to spread some Christmas cheer.

Events included a pantomime that was performed live on Tom's Ward by charity Starlight, and visits from Oxford United players who brought gifts to the young patients.

Of course, there were also visits from the ultimate Christmas VIP, Santa, who brought presents to Kamran's Ward with the help of his friends at RAF Benson.

Christine Turner, Senior Play Specialist said, "Time in hospital around Christmas can be difficult for patients, especially for children, so we try to make it as enjoyable as possible. We would like to send a big thank you to all the visitors to our wards during December and throughout the whole year."
