How much will a private treatment cost?

Before we provide private healthcare we will ask you to complete and sign a Private Patient Agreement Form|. This is a legally binding agreement confirming that you will pay the full cost of your care. If you have private medical insurance these costs are normally paid for by your insurer, however, we will still need you to sign this form to ensure that any costs not covered by your insurer can be recovered.

If you do have private medical insurance, then check with your insurance company to ensure that your policy covers you for the proposed treatments at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals. The hospital charges are usually fully covered by your policy. Most of our consultants charge at a level that will be paid for by your insurer, so that you will not have any extra to pay. However it is best to confirm this with your consultant and insurer.

If you are not insured you may choose to pay for your own private healthcare. Some treatments such as cosmetic surgery are not covered by private medical insurance, and you will have to pay for treatment.

For an increasing number of procedures Oxford Radcliffe Private Healthcare is able to offer a 'self-pay fixed-price package' which guarantees the price you will pay for the hospital service, as well as the professional fee charged by your consultant.

Oxford Radcliffe Private Healthcare can also assist you to get a loan so that you can spread the cost of private healthcare over a time to suit you.
