Is Oxford Radcliffe Private Healthcare linked to the Foscote Hospital?
Oxford Radcliffe Private Healthcare is part of the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust and works within the regulations set out in the NHS Act.
The Foscote Hospital in Banbury is a registered charity managed privately by BMI Healthcare Limited. We are separate organisations competing within the private healthcare market.
Some specialists from the Trust may also run private services at the Foscote Hospital on their own time. These activities are quite separate from clincial services they undertake in the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals NHS Trust and Oxford Radcliffe Private Healthcare, and as such do not benefit from the comprehensive and immediate clincial backup available within the Trust.
