What is private medical insurance (pmi)?
Private medical insurance is provided by a variety of insurance companies. It covers the costs of private medial treatments for what are commonly known as ‘acute’ conditions (i.e. a disease, illness or injury that is likely to respond quickly to treatment). In general, private medical insurance will not cover the cost of treatment of long-term incurable illnesses or conditions.
Oxford Radcliffe Private Healthcare does not provide private medical insurance, however we work closely with a large number of private medical insurance companies and we can put you in touch with one of these.
