John Radcliffe Hospital Women's Centre

Around 6,500 babies each year are born at the John Radcliffe Women's Centre, which also cares for women with difficult pregnancies or babies who need special care.

Most women give birth on Delivery Suite, which has rooms equipped with rocking chairs, beanbags, mattresses and birthing balls to encourage women to remain mobile during labour, as well as one room with a birthing pool.
